Dates: December 1-3.


MI Lacrosse Equipment Bag 2017

This bag is maroon and black, 42”, STX Equipment Bag labeled Mercer Island Lacrosse. The bags are due to arrive mid January.


2017-2018 Black Team

Congratulations on being selected to play for the Mercer Island Black Team.
This is a select try-out team of 7&8 graders, coached by Ian O'Hearn, Andy Osman and Kevin Collins.
This registration fee includes fall and spring dues.
It includes the fees for the program, four tournaments and the deposit towards the travel tournament.
The coaching staff also expects that Mercer Island Lacrosse Club is the only lacrosse club the players play with in and out of season.

2017-2018 Silver Team

Congratulations on being selected to play for the Mercer Island Silver Team.
This is a select try-out team of 5&6 graders.
This registration fee covers the cost of the entire year. This includes Fall Ball, the spring season and tournament costs.
The coaching staff also expects that the Mercer Island Lacrosse Club is the only lacrosse club the players play with in and out of season.

The Silver Team will participate in the WA Love tournament (Oct 28 and 29) and Space Needle Shootout (Dec 1-3).
Between mid-December and early February, the Silver Team will take a break and will start up again in early February with practices three times per week and games on Saturdays through June. Spring schedule for practices and games TBD.
In June the tournaments are: WA Cup (June 1-3) and Summer Solstice (June 8-10). Tournament information and details will be communicated early in the Spring season.

Spring 2018 - Middle School

Required: A US Lacrosse Membership that expires no sooner than the last day of the Session. Check and renew US Lacrosse membership at www.uslacrosse.org
*Grades 5 & 6 (excl Siver Team)
*Grades 7 & 8 (excl Black Team)

-First practice for 5/6 and 7/8 Teams: Wednesday 2/21/18
-Practices: weekly Mon-Wed-Fri 4:30-6:30 pm at IMS
-First game: 3/3/2018
-Last game: 5/19/2017
-Games: mainly Saturdays on MI and/or Seattle eastside
-Schedules: Greater Eastside Lacrosse League (GELL) www.greatereastsidelacrosse.org
-Post Season Tourneys in June - coach selected players
-Equipment: Stick, full pads (helmet, chest/shoulder, elbow, gloves, mouth guard), athletic cup
* GELL prohibits players from playing up in grade level

Spring 2018 - Elementary

Kindergarten
-Fee: $100
-Starts: Sunday 3/11/2018
-Ends: Sunday 5/13/2018
-Where: Sundays from 2:30-3:30 pm at the LID C park
-No spring break practices or games
-Equipment: Stick, cleats encouraged, dress for inclement weather

Grades 1 & 2
-Fee: $200
-First practice: Thursday 3/8/2018
-Practices: Thursdays 4:00-5:15 pm
-First scrimmage: 3/10/2018
-Last scrimmage: 5/19/2018
-No spring break practices or games
-Equipment: Stick, cleats encouraged, dress for inclement weather

Grades 3 & 4*

Regional Rule: Middle School and High School players must play for the lacrosse program at the school they attend. If their school does not have a program, they must play for the program which is closest geographically to their home.
