Fall 2017 - Elementary

This is a registration site for 2017 Fall Ball for the Mercer Island Elementary School Program.
Who: Lacrosse players, grades K-4
Season: Sun Sept 17 to Sun Nov 19
Where: Mercer Island Lid Park Playfields
When: Sundays 9-10 am

Grade K
-Fee: $35, this includes a FREE stick

Grades 1 & 2
-Fee: $75

Grades 3 & 4*
-Required: Active US Lacrosse Membership. Check and renew US Lacrosse membership at www.uslacrosse.org
-Fee: $110
-Games: Sundays on MI, Seattle and/or Greater Eastside
-Schedules: Greater Eastside Lacrosse League (GELL) www.greatereastsidelacrosse.org

*GELL prohibits players from playing up in grade level

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Grades K-2 need a stick only, cleats encouraged, dress for inclement weather.
Grades 3-4 need a stick and full pads (helmet, chest/shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick and mouth piece and athletic cup).

Fall 2017 - Middle School

Required: US Lacrosse Membership
Check and renew US Lacrosse membership www.uslacrosse.org

Equipment: Stick, helmet, mouth guard, athletic cup chest/shoulder and elbow pads, and gloves.

GELL prohibits playing up in these grade levels.

Grades 5 & 6
-Fee: $135
-Season: Sun Sept 17 to Sun Nov 19, first practice - Sunday 9/17
-Silver Team Tryouts: Sunday 09/10/17
-Tryout time: 8-10 am and 12-2 pm. Players must attend both sessions.

If your son would like to try out for the 5/6 Select SILVER Team - please email Coach O’Hearn (ian@mercerislandlacrosse.com) with your players full name, grade, and specify SILVER team.Players have to be registered for Fall Ball to participate in tryouts.

-Practices: both teams will practice on Sundays 10am to 12pm
-Location: Mercer Island Lid Park Playfields

The tentative schedule for both teams is as follows:
Practices: 9/17, 10/1, 10/15, 10/29, 11/12
Games: 9/24, 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 11/19
There will be no practice on game days.

Grades 7 & 8
-Fee: $135
-Season: Sun Sept 17 to Sun Nov 19, first practice - Sunday 9/17
-Black Team Tryouts: Sunday 09/10/17
-Tryout time: 10-12 am and 2-4 pm. Players must attend both sessions.

-Maroon/White Team practices: 12pm-2pm
-Black Team practices: 1pm-4pm

On practice days, from 1pm-2pm, all the 7th/8th grade players from Maroon/White and Black teams will have a mixed scrimmage.

2017-2018 Black Team

Congratulations on being selected to play for the Mercer Island Black Team.
This is a select try-out team of 7&8 graders, coached by Ian O'Hearn, Andy Osman and Kevin Collins.
This registration fee includes fall and spring dues.
It includes the fees for the program, four tournaments and the deposit towards the travel tournament.
The coaching staff also expects that Mercer Island Lacrosse Club is the only lacrosse club the players play with in and out of season.

2017-2018 Silver Team

Congratulations on being selected to play for the Mercer Island Silver Team.
This is a select try-out team of 5&6 graders.
This registration fee covers the cost of the entire year. This includes Fall Ball, the spring season and tournament costs.
The coaching staff also expects that the Mercer Island Lacrosse Club is the only lacrosse club the players play with in and out of season.

The Silver Team will participate in the WA Love tournament (Oct 28 and 29) and Space Needle Shootout (Dec 1-3).
Between mid-December and early February, the Silver Team will take a break and will start up again in early February with practices three times per week and games on Saturdays through June. Spring schedule for practices and games TBD.
In June the tournaments are: WA Cup (June 1-3) and Summer Solstice (June 8-10). Tournament information and details will be communicated early in the Spring season.


Fall 2017 - High School

Registration is closed

Fall Ball will run every Sunday from September 17th through to November 19th, at the MIHS Stadium, 5:00-7:00 pm.
These drop-in Lacrosse sessions are sponsored by the MILC and are strongly recommended for any HS age player who desires to keep their stick&scrimmage skills fresh.

i-90 Fall Indoor League 2017

Registration is closed

This is registration is for an extra lacrosse activity during Fall Ball 2017 season. This league team is limited to 16 players. Please register ONLY if you received an invitation. Game schedule and program details were sent in a separate email to participants of this team.
Program runs from September 9th to October 28th 2017.
No refunds.

Regional Rule: Middle School and High School players must play for the lacrosse program at the school they attend. If their school does not have a program, they must play for the program which is closest geographically to their home.
